Okay so I’m not posting this to offend or anything on either side of the aisle religiously. My question just had to do with the similarities. Christianity basically took your holy book, added a couple new protagonists, and spun a fanfic into it’s own self-aggregating religion. In much the same way, Mormons have done the same with the Bible. I have some Christian friends who pretty vehemently bash Mormonism as a result but I don’t really see that sort of thing from the Jewish community though my firsthand experience is admittedly limited. Is this a thing?
