This is such a silly question, but as I’ve only occupied Conservative and Reform spaces I feel like I’m missing some cultural context. I have recently started using a dating app and all of the Modern Orthodox men that I match with want to call immediately instead of messaging over text for a while. Is there a reason for this? I’ve never experienced anything like it while dating in any other part of the Jewish community.
