Could a robot be Jewish?

Okay, here’s a fun little thought experiment. If a robot was proven to be sentient and capable of emotion, connection, and introspection, would it be possible for that robot to be Jewish?

And if not, where is the line drawn? Could a cyborg that started out 100% human be Jewish? How about a Jewish person that had an accident and got turned into a cyborg? How about a Jewish person whose brain was put into a robot body? Or whose consciousness was loaded into a robot body?

This is purely for fun and I’m not really expecting revolutionary answers, I just wanted to see what the debate would look like. I don’t even know what teachings would be relevant for something like this lol
