I’m Jewish, my fiancee is not. We’ve agreed to raise the kids Jewish, but she herself is unlikely to convert. Any kids will obviously be technically not Jewish when born. I want to know how they can be converted officially?
According to myjewishlearning it says that an infant merely needs to have tevila in a mikveh and that’s all. That sounds too easy to me – does anyone know if this is indeed the case? Will that suffice to make the child Jewish even according to orthodox and Israel?
