I (16f) am interested in learning about Judaism and possibly converting in the future. However I live in New Zealand and there isn’t much of a Jewish community here (I believe there is only two Rabbis in the entire country).
I am happy learning as much as I can online, but at a certain point I think it’s essential to talk to someone of the faith and community, especially if considering conversion- however I don’t know if that’s possible considering I don’t know anyone whose Jewish or how I would go about finding someone willing to help me.
If anyone has any advice on correct solo study, I’d be really grateful- especially from people from smaller places with a small community. If there’s any New Zealanders here I’d really love to hear from you! Thanks for reading 🙂
