“Conservadox” community

In the U.S. where would someone who is conservadox (wearing a kippah on Shabbos and holidays and being shomer Shabbos unless a major work thing happens. Could also be considered modern orthodox when convenient) fit in best with American Jewish communities? Basically would a conservative or modern orthodox congregation make more sense? I know it depends on case by case basis but I’m sure some people here have some insight based on their experiences. Thanks!
