Hello all! I talked to my local Reform Rabbi today and had a great conversation with him. In his opinion, he believes that I am still Jewish and he does not see a need for me to convert again. He understood all of my circumstances perfectly and made me feel heard. It was a fantastic talk and I felt welcomed at every moment.
He did ask if I would mind enter into a mikvah again just reaffirm things, but not to formally convert again. Also, I start and Intro to Judaism class tonight! Things are going smoothly so far but the journey is long. I’m just happy to be taking the first steps… again.
I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words on my last post and for welcoming me back. Your continued guidance as I go through this process will be greatly appreciated!
