Claimed on twitter: "there is an argument within judaism whether jews can use former churches as a place of worship, there is no such argument about mosques because there is no argument whether muslims are monotheists" — Is this true?

it’s not important who tweeted this, but he’s a non-Jewish (I believe) geneticist who always tweets in good faith (no pun intended) and he is certainly not trying to troll or bait anyone.

This is something he believes and something I am completely ignorant of.
