I don’t eat treif animals, but keeping kosher is just too much of a hassle. All the restaurants where I live suck, they overcharge, and their service is terrible. Every time I order from one of them, they either make a mistake, charge ridiculous prices, or both.
I finally broke and started eating treif again, and aside from the guilt, it was a pleasure. Delicious food, massive portions, and half the damn cost.
Is it really that bad to eat nevilah? I’m not talking about eating pork or shellfish — I don’t do that. But kosher animals that weren’t schechted.
