Can’t find the right Bukharian kippahs. Is it weird to get a kufi instead? Hat is hat.

The men in my family have always worn bukharian kippahs on holidays and to synagogue, and I like them better too. I have a really hard time finding ones that fit my head right. Local Judaica stores have limited selection. But there is an Islamic clothing depot near me that has just an unbelievable number of kufis. I genuinely can’t tell the difference, I figure hat is hat. Is there anything Jewishly wrong with me buying a kufi and wearing it to shul?

I’m not worried about like appropriation or whatever, for anyone who is, let’s start by asking the pope for his yarmulke.
