Can’t find Rabbi for conversion – help!

Hello everyone,

I need your opinion/expertise on this particular situation I’m currently faced with. I want to convert to Judaism and have wanted for years. I have read and studied some about basic beliefs and traditions in Judaism and I’m currently taking Hebrew classes. I’d like to learn more and I am looking for a Rabbi to guide me through it.

There are a few Reform synagogues near me and I have emailed the Rabbis a few times with no success in getting a response or an actual meeting with them. One of them said he would like to meet and discuss but canceled our meeting the day before and has not responded to my follow ups.

What advice do you have for me? I’m very determined to do this, but I don’t know how to approach the situation given that I haven’t been able to find a Rabbi yet.

Wishing everyone Shavua Tov.
