Can unmarried women cover their hair for religious reasons?

I’m somewhere between Reform and Conservative (I would describe my synagogue as “Reformative”). I really like the meaning and spirituality behind hair covering in Judaism, but I’ve also heard that it’s heavily an Orthodox thing and even there, only for married women or previously married women. Are there any issues with a never-married, non-Orthodox Jew covering their hair?
