Right now we’re learning about different bible texts: Exodus 20, Leviticus 25, and Deuteronomy 15. All these texts are talking about allowing Hebrew slaves right? I think Moses wrote these books and he’s a central figure for Jews so why is he saying that people are allowed to own Hebrew slaves for 7 years? I haven’t been brought up religious and know nothing so I’d love some help
