Can I wear a kippah if I’m not shomer Shabbat?

I also don’t eat kosher. I put on teffilin and say the shema israel every now and then. I do truly believe in God though. I also like the feeling of a kippah on my head. Is it offensive for me to wear a kippah? Also yes my mother is Jewish.
