BD"E. Michael Pomerantz, who owned and ran Pomerantz Books next to Ben Yehuda in Jerusalem, has passed today.

It’s just starting now to make rounds. He lived in Efrat so I expect burial to be there. I’m pretty sad– the guy was a very very good guy and a staple of the Anglo scene in Jerusalem. I’m expecting that more than a few of you have met him or his sons if you ever got books in Jerusalem.
