Are kosher smoked fishes frozen or cooked to kill parasites ?

I was reading kosher check guidance for kosher fish , and it says fish would be clean except for Anisakis.

Which make me wonder , for smoked and salted fish are they frozen or or cooked to kill the parasites inside the meat ?

The guide was also said that one should check for :

external damage or pulps on the skin , inside the head, mouth , guts , stomach cavity , and gills.

I went to read it after seeing this and this link to infested fish
