Not exactly the biggest issue, but does anyone else here with a college diploma feel uncomfortable with “in the year of Our Lord… two thousand and twenty” or whatever being on their diploma? I graduate in December and have complained to my public university’s board of trustees about it being a violation of my First Amendment rights as a non-Christian and it’s currently going to their legal, graduation, and diversity teams for review. I know it’s not that big a deal, but it would irk me a bit having a Christian reference on there.
