Ancient Greek study?

Heyo all! I’m currently studying to convert to Judaism, and I recently stumbled across this text in the Mishna that seems to imply that one can study Torah in classical Greek as well as Hebrew. Since I’m a Classics major, my Greek is significantly better than my Hebrew at this point, to the point where studying in Hebrew is barely an action. Is it preferable, then, to study in Greek rather than English while learning Hebrew? Is it possible to study in Greek equally to Hebrew?

I know there’s also a point where Rambam says it’s no longer acceptable to use Greek as the language has evolved; by my reading, that would mean only that one cannot use medieval Koine or the later variants of the language, but Hellenistic Koine would still be acceptable?
