Those living in America: What do you think of America, as an individual and in the context of the diaspora?

As an individual, are you a Jew living in America, or an American who happens to have some Jewish identity / be a Jew? Are the two identities separate, interwoven, or “solution-ized” (cannot separate one from the other)?

In context of the diaspora, do you think Jewish Americans “own” America as much as any other Americans do, or is this someone else’s land, and thus this is merely a settling spot, as long as there’s an alignment of interest?
