Am I being called slurs?

Hey y’all, feel free to tell me if this is inappropriate to post but I’m not sure who else to ask. I got called an “Edomite” today and I really have no idea why that was the word chose. All I know about is how edomites are supposedly the descendants of Esau, and tried looking up what it means as an insult but no luck. It feels like the intent was to be antisemitic but I genuinely have no idea. I’m not insulted, I’m just confused
