As someone who has always been interested in learning about the Jewish faith, every time I’ve learned more I have begun to feel as though someone is pointing me in the direction of home…However, due to nerves and fears, I have put off reaching out to a community, until now. I suppose I have been leaning on my spirituality during these uncertain times, and today I finally reached out to my local Reform Judaism synagogue. I send an email enquiring whether they offered introductory courses or whether I could simply chat to someone.
I know it’s just the first step, and there are many more to come, but I am feeling simply elated, and wanted to share that feeling. I’m not anxiously awaiting a reply.
