Advice for non-Jewish person

Hello, I have a work friend that I completely adore. He’s Jewish, and I would love to be able to honor him in his faith if possible, to support him personally in the same way I do professionally.

Since there are so many resources out there, is there a specific one that someone can recommend? One that is respectful and targeted to people that know nothing about Judaism – so if he has a happy event, or there is a related holiday, I could wish him well? (I’m looking for appropriate and accurate, as well as easily understood. I’ve gotten lost in rabbit holes on YouTube when trying to learn on my own. Also, I was raised in a backwoods state with no religion myself.)
