A converting jew in seek of community

I am in the middle of my conversion journey through reform judaism and it has been a great joy. My devotion has deepened with each month and I find myself praying regularly and observing certain traditions. I love reading the Torah and listening to rabbis on podcasts and youtube.

I want to connect with others who are part of this culture but my problem is that everyone at my synagogue is in their 50s, 60s+ and I just turned 30 so it feels like a gap. I am currently single and none of my friends or family are jewish. Both of my grandfathers were Jewish and they are both deceased now.

Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic, I can’t help but wonder if there are any Zoom communities, or online retreats, etc. that I could participate in. I know that people my age are busy with their families and work but it would sure be nice to connect with someone, anyone, in similar circumstances.

Kind regards,

Robert
