A company will pay you $2,400 to stay away from screens for 24 hours… these people are amateurs

This is easy for us Jews, we can at time be known to go as long as 72 hours when Shabbat and Yom Tov follow each other.

But, would it be permissible for a Jew to do this challenge for the money, over Shabbat/Yom Tov?

Foreseeable issue: getting paid for “work” done on Shabbat.
